Our all-in-one camp combines the best of farm life with an engaging focus on ecology, offering children aged 6 to 12 a chance to connect with the land, develop practical skills, and better understand our relationship with the earth.  Working alongside experienced Farmers, campers will enjoy days filled with sunshine, fresh air, and meaningful exploration.

  • Schedule:
    • Weekly day camps run from June 30th to August 22nd.
    • Camps operate Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
    • Short weeks are available when a statutory holiday falls during the week.
  • Ages: Designed for children aged 6 to 12, ready to explore, create, and connect.
  • Small Group Size: Limited to 10 children per week to ensure a personalized and enriching experience.

What We Do

Campers will embark on a journey of learning, play, and discovery, experiencing the farm in a holistic way:

  • Farm to Table:
    • Harvest fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
    • Learn essential indoor and outdoor kitchen skills, including health, safety, and baking basics. 
    • Explore food preservation techniques like making jam, fridge pickles, and creating freeze-dried and dehydrated snacks.
    • Prepare and bake tasty snacks to share.
  • Woodworking & Farm Projects:
    • Introduction to tool safety before creating woodworking projects like birdhouses.
    • Develop hands-on skills that build confidence and creativity.
  • Eco-Art Adventures:
    • Experiment with natural dyes made from plants, fruits, and vegetables.
    • Create unique art pieces using materials sourced from the farm and surrounding ecosystems.
    • Learn how to use natural resources responsibly to inspire creativity while caring for the environment.
  • Ecology and Sustainability:
    • Discover the importance of composting and reducing food waste.
    • Explore the connections between farming, ecosystems, and our actions in everyday life.

FAQ'S

Our Summer Farm Camp runs weekly from Monday, June 30th to Friday, August 22. Camp hours are from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Early drop-off (8:45 AM) – no late pickups.

The camp is held at Clubhouse Farm, conveniently located 4490 Anderson Road, Kelowna BC, V1X 7V7

Our program is suitable for children aged 6 years old to 12 years old. Campers are grouped by age to ensure appropriate activities and interactions.

Each camper should bring:

  • A packed lunch and snacks (nut-free)
  • A reusable water bottle
  • Sunscreen and a hat
  • Closed-toe shoes (no sandals)
  • Weather-appropriate clothing (we recommend layers)
  • A small backpack for personal items

Lunch is not provided. Campers should bring their own nut-free meals and snacks. We encourage healthy and sustainable options.

We are a nut-free camp and make every effort to accommodate other dietary restrictions. Please include detailed information about your child’s allergies or dietary needs when registering.

Safety is our top priority. Our staff are trained in first aid and CPR, and we maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio. We also have safety protocols in place for all activities and secure areas for drop-off and pick-up.

Our experienced team includes educators, farmers, and outdoor activity specialists. All staff undergo background checks and training to provide a safe and enriching environment for your child.

Cancellations made at least 14 days before the camp start date to receive a refund. Eventbrite fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after this period. If unable to attend for any reason such as illness/vacations/bad weather/air quality no refunds will be issued.

If the camp is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or credit for a future session will be offered.If the camp is canceled due to extreme weather, a full refund or credit for a future session will be offered.

For safety reasons, regular visits during camp hours are not permitted.

Yes, we will have a waitlist and notify you when a spot becomes available.

Camp activities will proceed rain or shine! We have indoor facilities for shelter and activities if weather conditions become unsafe.

While we prioritize safety and have trained staff supervising all activities, there is an inherent risk involved in outdoor and farm-related activities. By registering, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Parents/guardians will be required to sign a waiver releasing the camp from liability for injuries or accidents, except in cases of gross negligence.
