Gear Lending Library

A big thank you to Fiona Barton (of Outland Design), Bob Ingram and Anne Stewart for their generosity! Without their support, we would not have been able to launch this project
The Gear Lending Library is a program which offers our children many opportunities to experience, play and learn in a natural environment.  To allow for each and every child to explore these areas fully, we are proud to present our newest pilot project.
This program will ensure that each child has appropriate outer clothing layers so that playing in mud, snow, and water will not interrupt play or limit children throughout the day.  We aim to build up the children’s confidence and skills in helping themselves as much as possible in our programming and their outdoor clothing is no exception.  These one-piece snowsuits, or muddy buddies were chosen because they are practical and they are much easier for a child to get on and off themselves.

We estimate the cost to outfit our Early Years programs annually to be $1,500.  If you are interested in making a donation to our Gear Lending Library, please contact our Administration.
